Homecare By Design is a small, family owned & operated organization that exists to serve seniors in the community. Our Leadership Team works hard to provide only the best services and opportunities for seniors. "Team Pink" consists of the leadership staff who oversees the clients, care staff, and everyone in between. We are not just "employees" - we are a family, and our family is here to serve yours.
Traci Goudy, RN, President & Founder - Traci Goudy is a dedicated RN, who is the owner of Homecare By Design. As a leader of the team, she contributes her knowledge and passion for seniors, as well as over 20 years of success and experience in senior services. Traci works hand-in-hand with each of her management leadership team and in-home care staff, as well as clients, their families and businesses in the surrounding areas. After the successful opening of several local senior living communities for companies such as Rosewalk Commons, Green Tree Assisted Living, and University Place, Traci found the next natural step was to open her own business. After starting up a local home health company with a business partner, she founded her own private duty home care agency, Homecare By Design. Traci delights in finding new and innovative solutions to help families of all ages solve day-to-day problems, offering a variety of services and personalized options to help strengthen families and give them the quality at-home care that they deserve. Traci spends much of her free time on personal development, by practicing faith, fitness, and furthering her education. She and her husband, Lee, spend all the time they can with their 3 grandsons, Jack, Levi, and Isaac.
Lee Goudy, Vice President of Operations – With over 15 years of experience in supervision and quality control during his tenure at Eli Lilly (now Evonik), Lee has a keen eye for detail when it comes to providing the best care possible to our clients. In his position at Eli Lilly, he worked under stringent FDA guidelines and understands the importance of quality and exceptional service. Lee spends each day at the office working with clients and staff to streamline our services effectively and efficiently. His specialty is displayed most in the way that he gives his undivided attention to each client’s needs and creates thoughtful solutions to bring them peace of mind. Since his start with Homecare By Design in 2012, Lee has connected with our associates, who have come to respect him as not only a leader, but also as a role model. He spends his free time with his wife, Traci, and their family, and occasionally enjoying a fishing outing in his boat.
Sabrina Schindler, General Manager- Sabrina brings her skills in management, customer service, and uplifting attitude to our team. She loves working for Homecare By Design because of our mission to provide ways for seniors to spend the rest of their lives in their own homes, something Sabrina’s grandmother was sadly not able to do, costing her years of her life. She is now passionate for helping seniors meet their goals and supporting our Caregiving staff. She has 5 strong, independent daughters who keep her on her toes and enjoys off-road riding for fun. Something she has learned from working with seniors is to fully experience life, and to do something every day that challenges or excites you.
Michael Roumbakis, Life Enrichment Coach- (“Coach”) Mike hails from Boston, MA and has been working in senior care for 37 years. He chose this field of work because of his respect for seniors, and his desire to help them enjoy their retirement years with dignity. Mike goes out of his way to makes seniors and everyone he interacts with feel like family. In his personal life, Mike has 2 children and loves to coach football, basketball, and baseball. Something Mike has learned in his work with seniors is that we will all be seniors one day, which is why he works so hard to show respect and kindness to everyone he encounters.
Celeste Lambert, Scheduling Coordinator - Celeste is from Muncie, IN, and started volunteering in a nursing home at just 13 years old, inspired by taking care of her own grandmother when she fell ill. When coordinating staff schedules and interacting with clients, she is always looking for ways to better serve seniors and cater to their best interests. She and her husband recently moved to Lafayette with their dog Ruby, and she enjoys art, antiquing, and baking in her spare time. A piece of advice given to Celeste when working with seniors is not to take life too seriously – to take full advantage of life’s opportunities and adventures whenever possible.
Christine Wyant, Office Manager - Christy is somewhat new to senior care, but a veteran when it comes to catering to others’ needs in order to brighten their day and be a strong support to her team. She chose to work in senior care because she finds fulfillment in helping others, especially those who have helped shape our community, with her skills in organization and time management. Christy grew up in Lafayette and lives with her yorkie-poo Cooper. What Christy has learned from working with seniors is to always make a point to show respect and kindness, because you never know how your actions and attitude can influence others or the course of their day.
